ENG 444 - Literature in the Secondary Schools

Credits: 3

A course on issues related to the teaching of literature in grades 5 to 12, including censorship, literary theory, adolescent literature, multicultural literature, the ethics of reading, and the connections between reading and the other language arts: writing, speaking, and listening. Prereq: ENG 301 .
