GERO 318 - Healthy Aging


Credits: 3

This course emphasizes the relationship between aging and healthy lifestyle. Theories of aging and development will be reviewed. The student will learn about the role of nutrition and exercise in the older population. This knowledge will be applied by assessing an older adult’s nutritional status and exercise behavior for the purpose of developing an individualized strategy for change.

Prerequisite(s): Recommended NUTR 376 .
