STAT 475 - Regression and Time Series


Credits: 3

This course is an introduction to regression and time series. Topics related to regression include simple and multiple regression, hypothesis testing, confidence and prediction intervals, model building and diagnostic checking. Topics related to time series include non-seasonal and seasonal time series, autocorrelation, Box-Jenkins models, parameter estimation, diagnostic checking, and forecasting.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 438  or consent of instructor.
