ECE 349 - Electrical Machines Credits: 4
This course is a technical elective intended for electrical emphasis students. It is part of the power systems design sequence. The course introduces the students to electromechanical devices such as DC machines, induction motors, and synchronous machines. The course has a lab associated with it in which modeling and applications will be emphasized.
Prerequisite(s): ECE 345 (may be taken concurrently).
