Mathematics Teaching Major, B.A./B.S.48 hours Students completing a teaching major must earn at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA, a 2.75 major GPA, and a grade of C or better in all courses applied toward degree requirements. Students pursuing a degree in Mathematics Teaching (grades 5-12) will complete all requirements for a degree in mathematics plus additional courses required for mathematics teaching majors.
