Nursing Major, B.S.N. (RN to BSN)

College of Nursing and Health Professions

Registered nurses with an associate degree may apply for admission to the program and earn a bachelor’s degree in nursing by completing the required non-nursing and nursing classes which directly support baccalaureate nursing practice. The RN-BSN program is provided through distance education. Online course delivery, six entry points per year, and seven week classes facilitate completion of the BSN degree requirements.

The curriculum is built upon a foundation of biological, physical, and social sciences with acknowledgement of previously learned content.  Additional information about the RN-BSN program is available at https://online.usi.edu/programs/rn-to-bsn.aspx.
