The Romain College of Business, via collaboration between the Accounting & Finance department and the Economics and Marketing department, offers individuals the opportunity to complete a combination of courses leading to a Certificate in Professional Sales. The combination of required courses will provide students with an overview of both the strategic and tactical aspects of sales, as well as specific skills needed to excel in the field of sales.

To earn the Professional Sales Certificate, an individual must complete the four required three-hour courses for a total of 12 credit hours. A grade of C or better is required for the courses to count toward the Professional Sales Certificate.

The Professional Sales Certificate is available to all USI majors as a standalone option, or is available to non-degree seeking students. While there is not requirement that a non-degree seeking or other student must possess a degree in order to enroll in the program, many of the courses in the program have prerequisite coursework.
