Occupational Therapy Major, B.S./M.S.O.T


Admission Requirements

The prospective student must be admitted to USI before completing a separate selection process to this program. Student applicants must show capability of fulfilling clinical practice requirements, eligibility for occupational therapy practitioner credentialing, and evidence of satisfactory health status. Note: A felony conviction (this includes documentation of driving under the influence—DUI) may negatively impact a prospective student’s eligibility to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state practice credentials; contact the program for further information.

Degree Requirements

Occupational Therapy majors must complete graduation requirements of the combined BS/MSOT degree curriculum in order to be eligible to sit for the Certification Examination for the Occupational Therapist Registered® administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Refer questions to the occupational therapy department.
