The Public and Nonprofit Administration Minor prepares students for a career in managing and administering public and nonprofit organizations. This minor offers courses in leadership, organizational behavior, human resources, public policy and budgeting. It is particularly suitable for those wishing to work for the local, state, and federal government or in the nonprofit sector.
The Public and Nonprofit administration minor is not open to Political Science majors in the Public and Nonprofit Administration (PNPA) concentration. The minor is open to Political Science majors in the Government Law, and Diplomacy (GLAD) concentration, but only two courses (6 credit hours) will double count towards the major and the minor.
