2025 Spring Class Schedule

Returning Students

If you previously were enrolled at the University but have not attended for one fall/spring semester, you will not need to readmit/reapply but will have an advising hold and will need to speak with an academic advisor before registering.

Undergraduate students

If you previously were enrolled as an undergraduate student but have not attended for two or more consecutive fall/spring semesters, complete an Application for Undergraduate Readmission by visiting www.usi.edu/registrar/registration/readmission or the Registrar’s Office, Rm. 1075 of the Orr Center.

As a returning student you must submit an official transcript from each college or university you have attended since discontinuing enrollment at USI. To facilitate registration for spring 2025, the readmission application should be submitted by December 22, 2024. A readmission can still be completed after this date, but you may be more likely to experience registration delays.

Graduate students

Graduate students, including degree seeking and non-degree seeking students, who have not enrolled in a graduate course for two or more consecutive fall/spring semesters must reapply to Graduate Studies and the specific program in which they were originally admitted. The application for admission to Graduate Studies is available online at www.usi.edu/graduatestudies. For information, call 812-465-7015 or email graduate.studies@usi.edu.

As a returning student you must submit an official transcript from each college or university you have attended since discontinuing enrollment at USI. To facilitate registration, the application should be submitted at your earliest opportunity. Some graduate programs have an application deadline or may allow returning students to reenter the program during a specific semester. Contact the department of your program or Graduate Studies for more information.

Students wishing to enroll in both graduate and undergraduate courses in the same term should enroll in the graduate course(s) before the undergraduate course(s).
