BIOL 251 - Environmental ConservationCredits: 3 This course is designed to introduce students to the basic scientific principles needed to understand the interdisciplinary and multinational (multicultural) nature of environmental issues and concerns. Through a series of lectures, discussions, and videos the student will be introduced to environmental issues from scientific viewpoints as well as political, economic, social, and philosophical realms. Does not apply toward a major or minor in biology.
