GNDR 112 - Introduction to Queer Studies

This course provides an overview of queer studies through an exploration of the contributions and lived experiences of LGBT+ people (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, asexual, pansexual, etc.) in history, culture, and society. With a focus on intersectionality and social justice, this course considers identity and sexuality alongside gender, race, and class and draws from multiple disciplines including politics, sociology, history, and film studies.
