SPTM 453 - Diversity in Sport

This course is a comprehensive introduction to how people differ - including race, ethnicity, gender identity, age, weight, religion, social class, sexuality, and physical ability/disability - and the importance of these differences for sport organizations. Additionally, the course will cover the implications of such differences within sport and society. Lastly, it will offer and explain strategies for creating and sustaining diverse and inclusive sport organizations.
