NURS 725 - Resource Utilization in Healthcare

This course focuses on the complex variables that influence resource utilization in nursing and healthcare. The conceptual basis and methods of financial analysis and decision making as they pertain to the healthcare delivery systems are analyzed. Healthcare economics, marketing principles, human resource management, and the influence of Healthy People 2010 objectives that impact current healthcare environments are explored.

Prerequisite(s): NURS 721 (grade of B or better).
