ENG 285 - Introduction to Film

An introductory examination of motion pictures as an art form. Students attend a series of selected films and discuss and evaluate them with respect to theme and technique. Critical principles are examined, and basic dramatic, literary, and photographic principles of cinema are investigated. Meets The University Core Curriculum  B2: The Arts category.
