ACCT 445 - Forensic Accounting

Fraud is a growing concern for organizations worldwide.  Estimates suggest that a majority of organizations experience fraud, representing billions of dollars in losses annually.  Additionally, individuals are defrauded at an increasingly frequent rate.  This course provides an overview of various types of fraudulent activity, the impacts on organizations and individuals and techniques to help detect and prevent fraud.
