POLS 361 - Intergovernmental Relations in the United States

An examination of the institutional structure of the American federal system, the basic features of contemporary intergovernmental relationships, the changes that national, state, and local governments have undergone in an era of devolution, and the challenges intergovernmental relationships pose for policy makers.

Prerequisite(s): one political science course or consent of instructor.
