MATH 410 - Introduction to Analysis Credits: 3
This course is an introduction to mathematical analysis on the set of real numbers. Emphasis of the course is placed on the writing and critiquing of proofs concerning basic concepts of analysis. Topics include the completeness properties of the real number system, sequential limits and convergence theorems, basic topology of real numbers, continuity of functions, and uniform convergence of sequences of functions.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 253 and MATH 335 .
