SPTM 263 - Outdoor Adventure Education Credits: 2
This course covers the philosophy of Outdoor Adventure Education by examining the practical organizational and instructional skills needed for outdoor leadership. The student will be presented with definitions of terms related to outdoor education, historical antecedents, environmental and adventure education. This course will also present perspectives on the social and psychological benefits of outdoor education.
