REST 455 - Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Geriatrics Credits: 3
This course provides an overview of objectives, methods, and expected results of pulmonary rehabilitation. Patient and family education, bronchial hygiene, breathing re-training, physician re-training, and home care will be described and discussed. Basic concepts of gerontology and geriatrics are presented.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to respiratory therapy program with junior/senior status or permission of instructor
