POLS 441 - Public and Nonprofit Budgeting and Finance Credits: 3
The overall goal for this course is for students to gain a comprehensive introduction to the concepts and practice of budgeting for both public sector and nonprofit organizations. This course is an opportunity for students to combine fiscal and budget theoretical perspectives with a comprehensive understanding of practices, processes, and actors involved in fiscal and budget development and administration. Students will examine cases at the national, state, local, and nonprofit organization level.
