ECE 311 - Electromagnetic Fields Credits: 3
This course covers the foundations of electric and magnetic fields. Material for the course consists of vector calculus, electrostatics, magnetic fields, Maxwell’s equations, electromagnetic waves, and transmission lines. The course will have three 50 minute lectures each week, with a 50 minute tutorial session. Students will be assessed through weekly homework, exams, and projects.
Prerequisite(s): PHYS 206 , MATH 335 , and ECE 255
