ME 471 - Mechanical Engineering Design

First semester of a two-semester capstone design experience for the mechanical engineering student. Written and verbal communication, a broad range of systems engineering tools and teamwork are emphasized. An engineering economics module is to be completed. Student deliverables include a project proposal, multiple project concepts and a chosen project concept for later detailed design.

Prerequisite(s): Senior standing and consent of the instructor.
