CHEM 531 - Biochemistry I Credits: 3
CHEM 531 studies the biochemistry of amino acids, proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, carbohydrates, and the action of enzymes. It encompasses the chemical properties of these macromolecules and their monomeric units, as well as the techniques involved in their study. A special research project is required.
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate courses CHEM 353, 354 and BIOL 334, or consent of instructor
