SPTM 688 - Strategic Sport Communication


Credits: 3

This course will introduce ways in which individuals, media outlets, and sport organizations work to create, disseminate, and manage messages to their constituents. The course will explore sport communication focused on personal and organizational communication as well as sport media. Students will learn how sport communication is an integral part of the strategies within management, marketing, and the operational goals for the sport industry.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Master of Science Sport Management program
