ENG 603 - Introduction to English Scholarship Credits: 3
ENG 603 is a required class introducing students to English as a professional discipline, beginning with a history of English studies within American institutions of learning that will provide a context for future activities in teaching and scholarship by focusing on research and bibliographic methodologies as well as literary, rhetorical, and composition theory. Students will become conversant in all three kinds of theory and able to apply them in appropriate contexts. (3 credit hours)
