NURS 741 - Application of Assessment with Differential Diagnoses Credits: 1
This course focuses on identification of a primary diagnosis based on patient assessment findings. Subjective and objective data from case studies will be used to foster discussion. Differential diagnoses will be introduced, and students will practice prioritizing differentials based upon statistical reasoning. Risk factors will be considered for illness, including genetics, lifestyle, and occupation. National competencies from APN specialties will be considered to support student outcomes.
