BIOL 334 - Cell Biology Credits: 3
This course examines the organization, functions, properties, and processes of eukaryotic cells, with selected comparisons to prokaryotic cells. Topics include the biochemistry and protein structure and function necessary for cell function; cellular energetics; membrane structure, function, and transport; cell signaling; cell structure; and cell cycle and apoptosis. Other topics may be discussed if schedule and time permits.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 141 , grade of ‘C’ or better and either CHEM 241 or CHEM 353
