HI 401 - Project Management for Health Information Technology (HIT)

This course will provide an introduction to project management principles and tools used for managing the development of healthcare analytic projects and information systems. Application of the concepts will be presented regarding systems theory, hardware requirements, personnel requirements, vendor negotiations, software, database, telecommunications, and use of the internet.

Prerequisite(s): HI 301; Health Informatics and Information Management major
