EDUC 246 - Language and Literacy in the Early Years

Examines the process of language and literacy development in young children. The course focuses on ways teachers of young children integrate research-based knowledge with early school and family literacy.

Prerequisite(s): EDUC 242 ; Formal admission to Teacher Education is required prior to registration.  Restricted to Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or Special Education majors.
