NURS 671 - Curriculum Development for the Nurse Educator Credits: 3
This course focuses on curriculum development and the principles of accreditation. The roles of faculty and healthcare facility educator specialists are studied. Curriculum development designs and models are introduced and evaluated while creating experiences in the development of a mock curriculum. Principles of accreditation are explored and analyzed with emphasized on competencies, objectives, and program evaluation. Analyze current issues influencing ethical and legal issues.
Prerequisite(s): NURS 618 (grade of B or better)
