SOCW 661 - Theory and Practice of Group Addiction Counseling

This course will focus on the development and use of therapeutic group interventions in the treatment of substance use and addictive disorders. Evidence-based theories and interventions focusing on addictive disorders will be presented.

Prerequisite(s): Admission and/or graduation from a CSWE-accredited MSW program, admission to Graduate Studies, and permission from the MSW program
