This course combines instruction with interactive discussions and experiential learning opportunities to provide students with a comprehensive and practical understanding of family and group therapy. The course integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills, emphasizing cultural competence and humility within an evidence-based framework to providing therapeutic interventions. Students will engage in active participation, self-reflection, and collaborative learning to develop the necessary skills and competencies for effective and ethical practice in the field of family and group therapy.
