ART 314 - Functional Ceramics Credits: 3
An in-depth study into the historic and contemporary applications of functional ceramics. Students will develop their personal style within the broad field of the functional object. Skills such as wheel throwing, hand building, and slip casting will be explored. Techniques will include surface development, clay bodies, and functional glazes.
