NURS 358 - Nursing Care of Adults I Credits: 4
This course advances students’ proficiency in applying the nursing process through the implementation and evaluation of complex nursing interventions for adult patients across the continuum of health and illness. Building on foundational competencies, students will refine cognitive, affective, and psychomotor skills necessary for clinical decision-making in increasingly complex care scenarios. Learning experiences in the classroom, lab, clinical, and simulation settings will challenge students to synthesize concepts from nursing theory, liberal arts, and the sciences within a legal, ethical, and culturally responsive framework. Emphasis is placed on the use of evidence-based practice to support quality, safety, and person-centered care in diverse healthcare environments.
