NURS 488 - Leadership in Care Delivery Credits: 4
This course prepares prelicensure nursing students to demonstrate leadership and management competencies essential for coordinating safe, high-quality care. Emphasis is placed on the development of systems thinking, delegation, prioritization, and interprofessional collaboration within clinical settings. Through experiential learning, students will analyze and apply quality improvement and patient safety frameworks to reduce errors, enhance outcomes, and promote continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
Prerequisite(s): NURS 368 (grade of C or better)
