CIS 346 - Cybersecurity Assessment and Network Defense


Credits: 3

An advanced cyber security course, which addresses skills needed to assess an organization’s security profile and prescribe solutions for a strong network defense. Students will study concepts, tools, and techniques used to audit an organization for cyber security threats. Students will also study responses to these threats through concepts, tools, and techniques associated with defending a data communications network.

Prerequisite(s): CIS 345
