NRSG 665 - NEL Practicum I

his course provides the first supervised practicum experience for students in the Nurse Educator Leadership track. Students apply principles of learning, teaching strategies, and curriculum design in classroom, simulation, and clinical education settings under the guidance of a faculty or clinical educator preceptor. Emphasis is placed on assessing learner needs, implementing evidence-based teaching strategies, and integrating technology into educational practice. Students begin to build their professional identity as nurse educators while engaging in reflective practice and maintaining a professional portfolio.

Prerequisite(s): NRSG 662 (Grade of B or better)
