NRSG 671 - HSL Practicum I

This practicum course provides graduate nursing students with immersive, hands-on experience in healthcare systems leadership. Students will engage in guided practice within complex healthcare environments, applying foundational leadership theories, systems thinking, and evidence-based strategies to real-world organizational challenges. Emphasis is placed on assessing organizational culture, identifying opportunities for improvement, and initiating leadership interventions that promote quality, safety, and equity in care delivery. Students will collaborate with mentors and interprofessional teams to begin developing a leadership project aligned with strategic system goals.
