SPTM 653 - Sport Law Credits: 3
This course will provide students with a basic understanding of the legal system and legal issues pertinent to the supervision, management, and business operations in sport and recreation settings. Topics to be discussed include, but are not limited to, negligence, torts, risk management, athlete/agent relationship and governmental compliance.
Prerequisite(s): Acceptance in the Master of Science Sport Management Program.
