Military Science Minor

Outreach and Engagement

24 hours

In conjunction with the Army ROTC program, the Military Science minor offers students an opportunity to obtain a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army.

Students who are a member of the National Guard or US Army Reserve, or non-prior service students who complete Army ROTC curriculum requirements, may choose to pursue the military science minor.

Introduction Basic (6 hours)

Students with prior military service should submit their DD-214 to the Veteran, Military and Family Resource Center for evaluation. If credit is awarded, up to six hours general electives will apply toward the military science minor’s six hour introduction requirement.
