Applied Studies Major, B.P.S.

BPS students pursuing the Applied Studies major with a concentration in crime and justice, cybersecurity, early childhood education, health services, organizational leadership, or world languages and cultures will do so in an accelerated, cohort format. All Applied Studies students will take a set curriculum in order to satisfy degree requirements. The concentrations are designed for students to gain specialized knowledge for practical applications in either the public or private sector.

BPS Degree Requirements

  • All University general admission requirements, academic policies, and academic standards for other baccalaureate degree programs apply to the BPS program.
  • For technical degrees and/or certificates not eligible for transfer credit, Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Credit may be awarded through a Portfolio Review. The amount of credit awarded will be determined and approved by a PLA Portfolio Review Committee and the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts.
