Health Informatics Certificate

The Health Informatics Certificate is designed to meet the educational needs of two categories of students – the health care professional seeking additional competencies in health informatics and the non-health care professionals seeking competencies in understanding healthcare and its use of data, information and technology. The certificate emphasizes active and engaged learning and is offered online.

Graduate Certificate Requirements

  • Credit hours earned for a certificate may be applied toward another degree program.
  • Coursework taken more than 7 years before the certificate is awarded may not be applied toward certificate requirements.
  • Students earning a graduate certificate are not eligible to participate in commencement exercises, but the credential will be added to their official transcript record.
