The Human Resource Management Certificate develops students’ competencies with respect to attracting, retaining, developing, and motivating an organization’s human resources, key to the organization’s success in a competitive marketplace.
A minimum of 6 credit hours toward the certificate must be completed at the University.
Credit hours earned for a certificate may be applied toward another degree program. However, a student cannot earn a certificate that is fully embedded (or subsumed) with the requirements of his/her majors or minor, but must include at least three (3) unique credit hours.
Coursework taken more than 4 years before the certificate is awarded may not be applied toward certificate requirements.
