Radiologic and Imaging Sciences, Degree Completion Option
Registered Allied Health Specialist + Specialty Area
Admission to the degree completion option requires graduation from an allied health professions program recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Registered radiologic technologists or others who have completed an allied health program recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologic Technologists (ARRT) may be eligible to receive up to 51 semester hours of block credit. Degree completion students also must have passed the ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB certification exam and be currently registered by the ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB.
Degree completion students will select one of the three specialty areas to complete their BS in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences:
- Clinical Education
- Radiologic Management
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Computed Tomography
Degree Completion Curricula:
- Completion of Core 39.
- Completion of specialty area courses.
- Maintain a grade of C or better in all Radiologic and Imaging Sciences courses and other selected courses.
- Maintain a 2.0 grade point average or better.
- A minimum of 30 credit hours must be taken at the University of Southern Indiana.
- A minimum of 120 total credit hours, including 39 hours at the 300/400-level.
Degree Completion, MRI & CT Specialty (33 hours)
A grade of C or better is required in all courses
