The online Post-Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration is designed to prepare teachers for leadership roles in P-12 school corporations/districts. Upon completion of the 24 credit hour program, the passage of the required licensure test, and the required teaching experience, graduates may be eligible for an Indiana Building-Level Administrator License.
Admission Requirements
Refer to the Admission section of the bulletin for information about Graduate Studies admission criteria and the online application process. Additional program admission requirements include:
- A master’s degree from a regionally-accredited institution with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher
- A valid Indiana teaching license
Program Requirements
- Maintain a 3.0 or higher grade-point average at USI
- Earn a grade C or better in all required courses in the program
Note: At the conclusion of the program, appropriate content tests are required prior to applying for building-level administrator license.
