TouchNet

Through TouchNet, students can view their student billing statement, enroll in a payment plan, and pay their student bill online. Students may also create authorized users who can view their student billing and payment information. To view your TouchNet account, log into MyUSI and click on the TouchNet app.

Billing and Payment Information

Each month, students and authorized users will receive an email notification when a new billing statement is available. Payment due date for each summer session is posted on the Bursar’s website and on the student’s billing statement. Students must have their balance paid in full, enroll in a payment plan, or have adequate financial aid by the established due date for each summer session. Pay online by Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express (a processing fee of 2.95 percent of the bill will be charged by TouchNet/Heartland Payment Systems). Pay online by eCheck (ACH) with your checking or savings account to avoid paying the processing fee. Contact the Bursar’s Office with any questions; 812-464-1842 or 800-467-1965 (option #4).

Parking Regulations

The speed limit on campus is 15 miles per hour. Pedestrians have the right-of-way in crosswalks at all times. Housing parking spaces are reserved for residents of that neighborhood (McDonald, O’Daniel, or residence halls); visitors must park in visitor areas only, and only during posted visitation hours. Campus lots have few restrictions, and those areas with restrictions are posted. Parking is allowed in marked spaces only. Parking is NOT allowed on boulevards, roadways, loading zones, within ten (10) feet of fire hydrants, or in other posted restricted zones identified by signs and yellow paint.

A list of vehicle and parking regulations may be found at www.usi.edu/parking. If a vehicle is found in violation of any University traffic regulations, the vehicle’s registered owner will be held responsible. The schedule of fines is as follows: parking in an ADA Accessible space, reckless driving, speeding, disregarding a stop sign, and other moving violations—$50 each; wheel lock (‘boot’) removal—$40; all other violations—$10 for the first citation, $40 for subsequent violations.

For online vehicle registration, visit www.usi.edu/public-safety/parking and select Vehicle Registration.

Transportation and Parking Fees

Students will be assessed a $75 transportation and parking fee for each summer session. This fee will be added to the tuition bill for each summer session. Students who are taking only distance learning or off-campus courses will not be assessed a transportation and parking fee that summer session.

Apartment Housing Residents

Students living in campus apartment housing (McDonald West and East, O’Daniel North and South complexes) during the summer are encouraged to register their vehicle, but do not require a parking permit decal.

Residence Hall Residents; Faculty, Staff, and Commuter Students

Students living in Newman, O’Bannon, Governors, and Ruston residence halls during the sumer will not have a parking hang tag and are allowed to park in all campus lots. Faculty, staff, and commuter students will not have a parking hang tag and are allowed to park in all campus lots, except where restricted by signage.

Damaged or Stolen Parking Decals

If your parking hang tag is stolen or becomes damaged, notify the USI Parking Department immediately. A fee may be assessed for replacement.

Disability Parking

State-issued handicapped parking placards, license plates, and University temporary handicap permits will be honored in all University parking lots.
