RADT 196 - Orientation to Radiologic and Imaging Sciences Credits: 2
This course provides a general overview of radiologic technology history and practice. Students gain a beginning understanding of the value of radiologic sciences in a healthcare setting, survey the role of radiologic technologists in a variety of settings, recognize national and state credentialing requirements, identify radiologic technology association functions at all levels, and recognize ARRT standards, ethics, and policies and their effects on practicing radiologic technologists’ conduct and patient treatment.
