A discussion of the science of evolution and how evolutionary theory can explain the diversity of life on earth. Topics include the history of evolutionary thought, adaptation, population genetics, speciation, patterns of macroevolution, and human evolution.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 215  and BIOL 382
