EDUC 424 - Supervised Student Teaching in Special Education Credits: 3-9
Teacher candidates in the final semester of their program are assigned to a full-time special education placement for the duration of the semester. Candidates will student teach using USI’s Co-Teaching model under the guidance of a classroom teacher and a university supervisor. Prerequisite(s): Permission of the director of student teaching. All other courses toward degree must be completed before term begins. Concurrent (may be taken at same time): Requires concurrent enrollment in EDUC 458 or capstone course in department of major.
